Frequently asked questions

This page answers the questions people ask before they pay. The board rules are the full record. The terms and refund policy cover the sale.

What is Bid2Rank?

Bid2Rank is a promotional discovery platform where companies purchase advertising placement. Projects are ordered based on their total promotional spend. Every purchase provides ongoing leaderboard placement and does not represent gambling, wagering, or an entry fee for a prize.

Are you outbid.lol?

No. outbid.lol is the original paid ranking board. Bid2Rank is inspired by that board. Rank still follows what people pay. This is a separate board.

Is this gambling, wagering, or a prize entry?

No. Bid2Rank is a promotional discovery platform where companies purchase advertising placement. Projects are ordered based on their total promotional spend. Every purchase provides ongoing leaderboard placement and does not represent gambling, wagering, or an entry fee for a prize.

How does rank work?

The highest cumulative paid total holds rank one. Equal totals keep the order they were placed. A lower total still appears on the board at the place that total can take.

How do categories affect rank?

Each listing can use one category. That category has its own order, and the full board keeps a separate order. One cumulative bid total controls both positions.

Why does each category have a different leader price?

Each category has a different current top bid. The category menu shows the minimum target that can take rank one in each category.

Does selecting a category force the leader price?

No. You control the amount. A lower amount can take another category rank. A highlighted badge shows that the current amount can take rank one.

Does a category quote reserve rank one?

No. The quote uses current settled bids. Another payment can change either rank before your payment settles.

Can one listing use more than one category?

No. A listing uses one category. It also appears in the full board order.

What does a repeat bid cost?

You pay only the difference between the current listing total and the new target. A listing amount is the sum of every payment made on it.

What does a payment buy?

A position on the public list and its selected category for as long as the listing stands. No traffic volume and no placement duration is promised.

Can the operator hide a listing?

Yes. The operator may hide or refuse any listing. Payment does not buy immunity from the rules.

Can I get a refund?

No. This is a one-time purchase and it is final once your listing is live — being outbid is the product working, not a fault.

Two things the board refunds on its own, without being asked: a takeover it could not grant, and a duplicate charge. Read the refund policy.
