Board rules

These are the rules for this board. They are short on purpose: you should be able to answer "can I list this?" in thirty seconds.

More questions sit on the FAQ.

How to place a bid

1. Enter one product URL or X handle. 2. Select one category when the board requires it. 3. Set the target total. The category menu shows each current leader target. 4. Complete checkout. The settled payment applies the new total and rank.

What this board is

Bid2Rank is a promotional discovery platform where companies purchase advertising placement. Projects are ordered based on their total promotional spend. Every purchase provides ongoing leaderboard placement and does not represent gambling, wagering, or an entry fee for a prize.

How the ranking works

  • Bids are whole units of the board's currency.
  • The minimum first bid is set by the board owner. Bids move in fixed steps.
  • Your amount decides your rank. The highest total is #1.
  • Paying less than #1 still puts you on the board, at whatever place that bid can take.
  • Equal amounts stay in the order they were placed. The older bid keeps the higher rank.
  • A click from this board to a listing is a paid advertising placement.

How category ranking works

  • Each listing can use one category.
  • The category and full board use separate rank orders.
  • The same cumulative bid total applies to both orders.
  • Each category can have a different rank-one target.
  • A highlighted category badge means the selected amount currently leads it.
  • A category quote does not reserve a rank before payment settles.
  • The public bid form does not change a funded listing's category.

Raising a bid

  • Enter the same URL or @handle and choose a higher amount.
  • You pay only the difference. Going from 3,100 to 3,101 costs one unit.
  • A listing's amount is the sum of everything ever paid on it.
  • Anyone may bid on any listing. If somebody else raises yours, the listing goes up and you keep your place on it.

What you may list

  • A product website, or an X @handle.
  • One listing per website. Two people bidding on the same site raise the same listing rather than creating two.

What is refused

  • Chat and invite links. Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord, Messenger, Signal and similar. A board is a directory of destinations, and an invite is a door into a room nobody can see before walking in.
  • Sexual content. If it is porn, NSFW, or an adult platform, it does not belong here.
  • Link shorteners. Submit one and it is replaced by the URL it redirects to.
  • Query parameters are stripped. Affiliate, referral and tracking URLs will not work.

What happens after you pay

  • Your listing is public.
  • Clicks go to the URL or profile you submitted, with the board's own utm_source added so you can see the traffic in your own analytics.
  • A completed payment is what claims the rank. Nothing before it does.
  • Your title, description and icon are read from your own page. Change them there and ask the operator to refresh.

Moderation

The board operator may hide or refuse any listing. Payment does not buy immunity from the rules above.
